It's Turkey Time!

Good Morning Fellow Take Shapers!
We're coming through an interesting season and it's time to remind ourselves to be compassionate and patient with ourselves!

Quick Questions:
  • How was your week on program?
  • Are you in an active weight loss, transition, or maintenance phase?
  • Have you made a temporary U-Turn into fat storage again?

​There's a part of me that wants things to happen more quickly, with more clarity, tangible results, and less angst.  Does this resonate with you too?  Why is it surprising to me that every time I try to "row upstream" or ​"grasp at straws," I find myself more distracted and further away from "home?"  As I refocus, I realize how blessed I am in this moment, recognize the creative energies all around me, and relax into life as it is unfolding.  You are part of that blessing.  I'm happy to be on this journey with you and to be serving you!

My hours have changed:
Tuesday has opened up as my primary coaching day - let me know what 15-30 min time slot you would like.  Please text me any time and call anytime if you are feeling frustrated or stuck.  Also, when you are new or doing a restart, chatting daily is still the way to go!

Why Referrals are important:
The best thing about giving and receiving referrals is that it means you are using the Medifast foods and BeSlim program as a tool to help you, are feeling a level of control and success and are wanting others to experience the hope you have found.

Having friends, family members, and coworkers doing the program with you, like any good buddy system, supports YOU, builds a buffer around YOU, and contributes to YOUR success.

Making referrals helps me to know and serve you better too.  Keep up the good work!

What to Listen for:
  • I don't have anything to wear!
  • The holidays stress me out.
  • I'm afraid to go to the doctor
  • This weather makes me blue - feeling chubby and being obese are key factors in depression, fear of going outdoors, and the vicious cycle of eating for comfort.
  • My father just had a ________ - fill in the blank here - so many chronic and acute illnesses are a complication of obesity. 
That's when you say, "I don't know if this is a good fit for you or not but, I'd love to introduce you to my coach, Polly."
