Weekly Celebration ... Let's do a Happy Dance!

There are so many reasons to celebrate ... 
One coach shared that she jumps up and does a "Happy Dance" every hour or two - it gives her an excuse to move & smile, and helps her pace through her day. Each time she completes a task, she does her Happy Dance to "tie the knot," celebrate each tiny step in the process of meeting goals, and "clear the air" in preparation for the next step.  She says, "It's like football, we all need to dance and reassess at half-time!"  If you haven't checked in recently - here's your reminder - check in and share how you are feeling and what you are celebrating.

I cringe when I hear someone say, "I'm fat!" What people don't realize is that "they" aren't fat, they are simply malnourished and are carrying too much fat around. Please share with them that being hungry and feeling like their cookie monster is out of control has a very reasonable, physiological explanation!! In most cases, they are NOT lacking in motivation or self-discipline ... they are simply hungry and suffering from some degree of insulin resistance.Click Here to read more. I put up a calendar in my bathroom like you suggested. I noted my starting weight in Sept and then put that weight minus the first five pounds for a week later then I put 2 pounds less for each week after that. I am way ahead of the game on my 8th week I can't believe it!  I'm so excited.
 
I am sleeping and feeling so much better ... I just can't explain it, my mother said, "Where did you get all this energy?"
 
I'm getting the routine down now. This is so easy as long as I eat on time and drink enough water.
 
I went to my closet and found something that is too big and gave it away. This is the first of many.

Today's photo is of DS, a veteran of the US Navy who served on a nuclear submarine ... he made the decision to regain his health and started working with a TSFL Health Coach in March of this year.  He's down 60# ... what a difference it's made in his life.  Have a look at what recruiters are saying about how the epidemic of obesity is effecting the pool of military applicants, Too Fat to Serve ... together, we can turn this around!!!
