The Health Coach's Role ...

My role as your Health Coach has several parts ...

A Health Coach "At Work!"
My first "job" is to get you into and through "Fat-Burning" comfortably. I suggest you begin your program with your first Medifast meal the night before so that you sleep through the first 8 hours of the approximately 72 hour process. During that time, we chat for a few minutes daily and as questions arise.

The second task of the Health Coach is to support you as the excess weight comes off and your shape finds its way to the surface ... "I knew I was strong but now I can see my muscles!" During these months, you and I should communicate every one to two weeks. I send this note out as a reminder and source of support. I also enjoy hearing from you on FaceBook!

My third area of focus is to help you as you transition from the 5&1 regime back into mainstream grocery shopping and meal prep ... once the fat is melted, None of us ever what it to accumulate again. Finally, my role as your Health Coach continues ... I'm always available to you as you continue on your journey to optimal health. Many of us encounter "Road Bumps" ... I restarted the 5&1 numerous times as I worked to "get it right" and relax into maintenance with confidence. A life time of poor "dieting" habits didn't change over night. Helping you keep your slim healthy body and gain strength, stamina, and better health is my long-term goal. That's why I keep on blogging, reaching out, and enjoying the check-ins ... I love hearing from you!!! 

One more thing, our business runs on referrals ... there is no reason to leave others out in the dark of frustration and despair! Please tell anyone who notices your transformation, that you are working with me, your Health Coach.  (Never tell them you are "doing Medifast" ... they will google it, possibly try it, end up using it like "diet food" and potentially regaining any wt they lose. Ask them if you can give me their info so we can start a dialogue.  All the research points to the fact that working with a high quality plan and competent coach has a much higher rate of success over time.
