We Celebrate Every Monday!

We celebrate each Monday as clients connect for their weekly check-in ... 
If you'd like to get this reminder / note of encouragement, just let me know!  We want to how your health journey is progressing and how your week went ... It was a holiday and that poses a challenge for many of us ... How did you do?  What did you learn?  How's this week going to be?

In preparation for the 4th of July, one of our clients wrote:

Tips from Dr A:Whether you are in the beginning phases of fat-burning and weight loss, in the midst of transition, or well into maintenance, seeing "the end in the beginning" is essential to getting where you want to go ... that's what makes chapter 11 so wonderful!  look it over one more time before we move on to Phase II in Dr A's Habits of Health.  Without looking back, can you remember:
  • the three Core Principles of reaching and maintaining a healthy weight?
  • the role of alcohol?
  • what the "Glucose-Insulin Response Curve" looks like and can you explain to someone? (hint: it's at the bottom of pg 144.)

Great news! Just two weeks after seeing my Cardiologist who removed one blood pressure medication, I had to call them on Monday and tell them my blood pressure was running low on the one remaining medication. Today he removed my final blood pressure medication! 10 weeks can work wonders! Work the plan and the plan will rework you! 

We purged all (the bad) stuff out of the house and are back on track after both of us gained a couple of pounds.  Frustrating, but educational!  Looking forward to a great week!
