We prefer to do business with people who believe what we believe ...

Greg and I are up early and off to another networking even this morning and we are debriefing on the events of the past few days.  We've met and chatted with dozens of really interesting people.  All of these business owners are selling their products and themselves.

According to Simon Sinek, we will do business with people who have products we need but we all prefer to do business with people who believe what we believe!  I've realized that I am drawn to people who have a passion for helping others, who believe that what goes around comes around, and who love to reach out and serve with integrity and transparency.

So, next time you meet someone, as you get through the initial "Do / Do," (What do you Do / What do you Do?)  listen closely, look into their eyes, check them out ... are they passionate about what they have to offer, are they even more passionate about being truly helpful? Is there a match, a link to be made?  If so, then you're in business!  Make a plan to take the discussion to the next level and then help even more people ... if we help people get what they want, our needs will always be met!!
