Monday, June 4th Check-in Note

There is so much momentum that reassures us that we are doing the right thing at the right time.  Our nation is in crisis.  The wave of obesity is actually a tsunami that will, if unchecked, destroy out workforce, our economy, and our future generations ... on a personal note, I was just frustrated and depressed!  I needed a box of tissue as I watched "Weight of the Nation" with Greg this weekend ... take a look!  We have an incredible opportunity to experience and be part of the solution!!!

My favorite quote of the week was, "I'm so grateful!  I've dropped 13 pounds since starting three weeks ago ...  I have lots of weight to lose (and) I just want to lose the weight so I can move. I feel imprisoned by my body. I love to move, to dance, to play softball but I just can't do that at 300 plus pounds." 

Our coaches are working towards Certification ... we'd like to include you.  You can follow along with the lessons from Dr A's Habits of Health ... 

Please don't tire of me urging you to become a Health Coach - there is a genuine shortage of coaches ... you have the experience, you are already reaching out and coaching every time someone asks about your progress and you share that you are doing Take Shape for Life with us, your Health Coaches.  (Many thanks for the referrals by the way!)  Raising your hand to get more training and support so you can help halt and reverse the habits of disease in our country is one of the most selfless and noble things you can do and we will do everything we can to help you!!!
