Foods that feed the body and the brain take a little thought
and some extra effort for the parents. Offering your child a plate of only vegetables may result in some "hesitation." We must find ways to involve kids in creating healthy food. Encouraging creativity is a good all around activity with many mental, spiritual and health benefits. For those of us that are gluten intolerant, remember there are several good gluten free pizza crusts on the market these days. In many cases gluten has been associated with ADHD in children.
- Bottom line is to take the time to read the labels and learn which foods lead to health.
- Participate with your family in eating well and creating a lifestyle of health.
